Melinda Cuilty, DHE’s Immersive Learning Account Executive, is presenting Immersive Learning for the AI Era at NMTIE 2026 on Wednesday, November 11 at 2:00 PM.
NMTIE runs November 11–13 at Isleta Resort & Casino Conference Center in Albuquerque. If you’re attending, add Melinda’s session to your schedule.
The Session: Immersive Learning for the AI Era
AI tools are already showing up in New Mexico classrooms. Melinda will walk through how schools are pairing them with immersive learning to give students hands-on practice in science, career and technical education, and soft skills, and what it takes to run a pilot that holds up past the first semester.
When: Wednesday, November 11, 2026, 2:00 PM MST
Where: Isleta Resort & Casino Conference Center
Bring Your Questions
Melinda works with districts at every stage, from first conversations to full rollouts. After the session, she’s glad to talk through:
Choosing the right programs. Which immersive learning platforms fit your grade levels and goals, from virtual science labs to career exploration and nursing simulation.
Planning a pilot that lasts. Headsets, device management, and teacher onboarding, so the program keeps running after the first semester.
Buying it. How to purchase through the cooperative contracts your district already uses.
